When Misty and I had been dating for all of about a month, Thanksgiving break came upon us. Since I couldn�t afford to go home for the holiday, I stayed on campus in my fraternity house for the week, completely on my own. Indiana tends to be cold and generally unpleasant in late November, so there was little motivation to leave the house. Finding myself with plenty of time on my hands, I decided to draw a sketch of Misty as a surprise for her. The only picture I had of her to model from was all of about 1 inch by � inch in size, a black and white photo from the freshman review. I spent the entire week working on this sketch.
