I learned more about American politics when I was 16 than maybe was wise. It left me thoroughly disillusioned with and wary of governments in any form, but especially of the organized two party system we have here at home. �How They�re Gonna Get Away With It� is an expression of this cynicism (which has only waned a small degree over the last 13 years.) This song, the oldest item I'm posting, is a parody, set to the tune of Dire Strait�s �Money For Nothing.� �How They�re Gonna Get Away With It� (I want my, I want my, I want my graft money)Now look at that, people! That�s the way ya do it. You make a speech on the TV! That ain�t workin� That�s the way you do it! Money for nothing And your votes for free! Now that ain�t workin� That�s the way ya do it!
